How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a Transport Lead to oversee the day-to-day scheduling and control of milk collections across our West region.

This is a critical operational role responsible for ensuring inbound transport runs safely, efficiently and reliably in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will coordinate fleet movements, manage shift handovers and respond to real-time operational issues, supported by established systems and an experienced team.

Note: This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off roster, incorporating both day and night shifts.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Plan and control inbound milk collections for a fleet of 34 trucks across the West region

  • Manage scheduling continuity and shift handovers across day and night operations

  • Work closely with drivers, fleet controllers and workshop support to respond to operational issues

  • Use an established transport scheduling system to manage the majority of planning

  • Ensure operations are conducted safely and in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements


About You:

  • Experience in transport scheduling, fleet control or a similar logistics environment

  • Comfortable working a rotating day and night roster

  • Strong operational judgement and ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with operations teams
