What You'll Be Doing
- Execute, verify, and process domestic and international payment transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Handle payment investigations, inquiries, returns, and recalls by communicating with correspondent banks and payment partners.
- Support internal stakeholders, payment intermediaries, and clients with settlement-related questions and operational issues.
- Monitor correspondent bank accounts and liquidity positions to ensure efficient payment processing and timely settlement.
- Perform reconciliations, balance checks, and end-of-day controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Help maintain high service standards for fintech and business clients by ensuring reliable and efficient payment operations.
- Verify and record treasury transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in payments, settlements, banking operations, treasury operations, or a similar financial services environment.
- Good understanding of payment schemes and networks, including SWIFT, Europen payments schemes, and UK payment schemes.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and a structured approach to work.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Excellent written and spoken English, as English is the primary language used in daily work.
- Interest in the payments ecosystem and motivation to contribute to its development and efficiency.
