Chanel are now recruiting for a Divisional Communications Executive to join the Corporate Communications team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will assist the planning, administration, and execution of communications actions to promote the image of CHANEL, our products, and our creations, across all media platforms and local event executions in Australia and New Zealand.
You will share your time equally with half of your time spent supporting the requirements of the Fragrance & Beauty communications team and the other half the of the role supporting the divisional projects for the team as required.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
This role will assist the General Manager Corporate Communications in managing and enhancing the corporate reputation of CHANEL. You will support the communications division to deliver events and activations.
YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY
Developing and executing strategies with influencers and KOL’s which support the management and growth of allies and influencers across Chanel Fragrance and Beauty. You will enjoy the process of identifying appropriate partners and developing relationships to protect and enhance the image of CHANEL.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Reputation Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance and protect the corporate reputation of CHANEL.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (such as senior management, employees, and departments) and external stakeholders (including media, industry partners, and community organizations).
Communication Strategy: Collaborate with the GM of Corporate Communications to create effective communication plans that align with corporate objectives, including sustainability initiatives.
Media Relations: Manage media inquiries and coordinate press events to effectively communicate CHANEL’s corporate messaging.
Sensitive Communications: Assist in the development of sensitive communication responses and respond to reputational issues as they arise.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage and public perception, analyzing trends and providing insights to inform future communication strategies.
Sustainability Projects: support sustainability initiatives, ensuring clear communication of CHANEL’s commitment to sustainability to all stakeholders.
Support the FBP Senior Communications Lead across projects as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of computer literacy (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
Exceptional organizational skills with the strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate
Enthusiasm, proactivity, and ability to complex problem solve
Curiosity about the role of communications, evolving media landscape and beauty industry in Australia.
Previous Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
