Job Description

We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner Manager to support and enable the Brazilian business. This role is responsible for owning complex HR topics end-to-end, acting as a trusted partner to local leaders while ensuring alignment with global People frameworks and standards.

This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for someone who operates with high autonomy, navigates the complexity of Brazilian labor law with confidence, and translates people strategy into effective local execution.

You will work closely with local leaders, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and global COEs to ensure compliant, scalable, and people-centric HR practices in Brazil.

*Based in São Paulo | Hybrid (3x per week onsite).
*Please submit your CV in English (mandatory).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Trusted HR Partner: Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting people decisions with strong judgment and business context.
  • High Autonomy: Operates independently, owning HR processes and initiatives without the need for close supervision.
  • Brazil Expertise: Has deep knowledge of Brazilian labor law, compliance, and local HR practices.
  • Problem Solver: Comfortable handling complex and sensitive HR topics with structure and pragmatism.
  • Hands-on & Strategic: Balances execution with strategic thinking, adapting global frameworks to local needs.
  • Influencer: Leads through expertise and influence rather than people management.
  • Global Mindset: Works effectively with international stakeholders and global HR teams.

Professional Qualifications

  • Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in Brazil.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian employment law and HR compliance.
  • Experience supporting leaders in fast-paced or scaling environments.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus

What you’ll be doing:

  • HR Business Partnering: Act as the main HR partner for local leaders, supporting workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee relations.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Own core HR processes in Brazil, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, policies, and compliance.
  • Labor Law & Risk Management: Independently manage complex labor relations topics, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Culture & Engagement: Support the activation of company culture, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives tailored to the Brazilian context.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner with global COEs on people initiatives, ensuring local execution aligned with global standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
