Finance & Control Department in Circle K Business Centre Riga, Latvia, is a part of a Global Finance organization and is responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:

Specialist Finance in Accounts Receivable Team

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Post incoming bank payments to customer accounts
Perform payment clearing on customer accounts
Monitor bank clearing related balance sheet accounts
Handle internal and external customer queries related to payments and their postings
Perform period closing related tasks
Identify errors and suggest improvements to increase efficiency
Assist with internal and external audits
Participate in process improvement projects

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field
Proven experience in a finance related specialist role
Fluency in English (written and oral) to communicate with colleagues in Europe
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical mindset with a structured, organized, and proactive approach
Customer oriented mindset
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
