Location Overview

Role
Responsible for overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring an exceptional and personalized experience aligned with the highest standards of service and hospitality. Ensures operational excellence, leads and develops the team, and promotes a culture based on discipline, attention to detail, and anticipatory service (omotenashi).
Manages financial performance, cost control, and profitability while maintaining high quality standards. Works closely with the kitchen to ensure the authenticity and consistency of the Japanese concept, delivering an elegant and memorable experience to every guest.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring consistent standards of service, quality, and presentation.
- Guarantee an exceptional service experience based on the principles of Japanese hospitality (omotenashi).
- Lead, train, and develop the team, promoting discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure authenticity, consistency, and optimal service timing.
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and occupancy to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial indicators: sales, costs, budgets, and restaurant profitability.
- Control inventory, supplies, and waste, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Resolve incidents and customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain an active presence on the floor, supervising every detail of service and strengthening relationships with guests.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage, preferably within ultra-luxury hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Solid understanding of restaurant financial management, including P&L and budgeting.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a multicultural team of Amansantis (staff members).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
