About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Technical Project Manager to lead projects within our Manufacturing Technology portfolio. This role will focus on systems such as Asset Performance Management (APM), Factory Information & Analytics, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will act as a product owner, collaborating with cross-functional teams—from plant operations to senior leadership—to define product roadmaps, gather requirements, and drive successful implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions.
You Will
- Lead end-to-end project management across manufacturing systems.
- Define and manage product roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Oversee development, testing, deployment, and support of MES, CMMS, APM, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure alignment of project goals with broader Industry 4.0 strategies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best practices in manufacturing systems integration.
You Have
- Proven experience in technical project management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of MES, CMMS, OEE, downtime reporting, and factory analytics.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, including IIoT, edge computing, and smart manufacturing.
- Experience acting as a product manager or owner for technical platforms.
- Strong experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for project tracking and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable development plans.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience:
- 8+ years in technical project management and relevant manufacturing systems..
- Strong understanding of SCADA/HMI systems and industrial automation protocols (OPC/UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing with knowledge of OEE, MTTR, MTFB, and other performance metrics.
- Experience in SAP integrations, REST API connectivity, and SQL query development.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
