Your Opportunity, Your Team

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Scenic Operations, and the direction of the Scenic Stylist and/or Senior Scenic Stylist, the Associate Scenic Stylist is responsible to perform a variety of duties associated with the planning, pre-production, and execution of scenic requirements in support of QVC's live television broadcast. You will be responsible for scenic element changes, including furniture, props and graphics according to the scenic styling plan. This position can act as a stepping stone for individuals who aspire to be future Stylists and Senior Stylists.

Where You'll Work

  • This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA headquarters daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
  • The schedule for this role will be Wednesday through Saturday - 3pm - 1am

What You'll Do

  • Gather, load-in, and arrange on-air scenic elements according to the scenic styling plan. This includes, but is not limited to, changing of graphics, props, and furniture on set.
  • Restore sets to their original, storefront condition upon completion of specialty-styled programs. This includes, but is not limited to, returning scenic elements to the proper storage areas.
  • Carry and answer the Associate Stylist mobile phone at all times during scheduled live show shifts.
  • Clean and maintain scenic storage areas, staging areas, and supply storage areas.
  • Locate missing props and furniture, and return to appropriate storage areas.
  • Organize and maintain sets, furniture, and props in the warehouse.
  • Report any damaged scenic assets to appropriate personnel.
  • Unpack prop and furniture deliveries, and assemble items as necessary.
  • Pack and arrange prop and product sample shipments for return.
  • Receive and properly handle live flower deliveries.

What You'll Bring

  • 1 – 2 years. Previous television studio or theater experience preferred.
  • Interest in gaining knowledge of scenic construction, scene painting and set dressing
  • Experience in television, studio, or theater environments valuable
  • Interest in gaining knowledge of style trends, interior design elements, current fashion looks, and visual merchandising.
