Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.

Current Need:

The CLM Contract Specialist is a skilled individual contributor who independently manages moderately complex contract administration work. The role focuses on contract accuracy, compliance, and alignment to business requirements, ensuring agreements are properly documented, maintained, and ready for operational execution.

This role applies working knowledge of contract administration practices and uses judgment within established guidelines. The Contract Specialist partners with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, legal, finance, and compliance) to support contract digitization and lifecycle management. The role does not set enterprise contract strategy, but it materially supports execution quality, risk mitigation, and cycle-time efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management & Execution

  • Review and audit contracts, amendments, and extensions using approved templates, policies, and delegated approval authorities

  • Confirm that contract terms accurately reflect negotiated business agreements and commitments

  • Track key milestones, expirations, and obligations to support timely renewals and ongoing compliance

  • Perform contract data clean-up activities as needed to ensure accurate records and a single source of truth

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a day-to-day contract point of contact for internal stakeholders

  • Partner with legal, operations, finance, and compliance teams to resolve standard contract questions and escalate non-standard risks appropriately

  • Support stakeholders by advising on contractual requirements, risks, and operational impacts

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Review contracts for adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards

  • Identify contract variances and risks, and recommend mitigations within defined authority levels

  • Maintain accurate contract records and supporting documentation in the contract management system

Process Improvement & Operational Support

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and tracking methods

  • Support reporting and data requests related to contract performance and compliance

  • Apply standardized practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across contract activities

Minimum Requirement:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills & Capabilities:

  • 4+ years of experience in contract administration, sourcing support, client engagement, or a related business operations role

  • Experience working with cross-functional partners in a regulated or highly governed environment preferred

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms (e.g., Conga, Icertis, Agiloft) and CRM tools

  • Travel up to 15%.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Contract drafting, review, and lifecycle management

  • Working knowledge of contractual risk, compliance, and standard legal concepts

  • Strong attention to detail and document accuracy

  • Proficiency with contract management systems and standard business tools

Analytical & Judgment Skills:

  • Ability to interpret contract language and apply policies appropriately

  • Sound judgment in identifying issues that require escalation versus independent resolution

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities concurrently

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication

  • Ability to explain contract terms to non‑legal stakeholders

  • Strong partnership orientation with internal teams and external counterparts

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
