Job Details:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This job will include mowing on a Massey Ferguson 596 100 HP tractor with a 15' Batwing mower attached, as needed and weather permitting. Also included will be trash removal, hosing, cleaning equipment, and cleaning in the various buildings. Clarifiers will need to be hosed during times of plant upset. Cleaning chlorine contact tank as needed. Fueling the truck, utility cart and gas cans as needed. This position will clean the biogas scrubber balls on an as needed basis. Generally, duties that come from the proper operation and maintain a clean WWTP. Also other various odd jobs under the direction of the Wastewater Management. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs) and reaching. Since this position can work outside in the seasonal weather or inside the plant, this position can work in a hot, humid environment or cold, damp environment and slippery surfaces. Must be willing to stand or walk on hard floors 8 hours a day.
Requirements:
This position will work 3 days a week 8am-4:30pm. Days may vary based on weather. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
