About the Role: Service Project Coordinator – Aberdeen

Are you ready to be at the heart of a dynamic project team, coordinating key service projects and ensuring seamless delivery for a global client base? Johnson Controls is looking for an enthusiastic Service Project Coordinator to join our Service Projects Engineering team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will support our project design engineers and project managers by coordinating and expediting project requirements to meet customer needs and delivery dates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential support to project managers and engineers
• Engage in negotiation and liaison with both suppliers and customers
• Coordinate with Design and Production teams to gather precise project information
• Requisition and expedite project-specific materials, solving any supplier invoicing issues
• Oversee the organization of shipping, including export documentation and logistics, to various global locations
• Maintain accurate records and project files, generating essential documentation for the Service department
• Track project budgets, timelines, and assist in ensuring smooth workflow for project execution

What You’ll Bring:

• Customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• A solid understanding of export requirements and commodity codes
• The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Great computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with shipping and logistics is a plus
• A positive, adaptable attitude with a “can-do” approach and intuitive problem-solving abilities
