Job Details:
Starting Pay: $18.75/hr plus $1.00 shift premium
Position Summary:
The PIT Equipment Operator is primarily responsible for operating loaders in the blending operations. This role involves cross-training on various job duties within the facility, ensuring a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson Foods policies.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate skid steer and articulating type loaders for production purposes.
Operate all loading and unloading equipment and follow procedures.
Perform scaling and weighing duties.
Load and unload hopper bottom trailers.
Load and unload rail cars.
Maintain facility cleanliness.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb, bend, and stoop for cleaning responsibilities.
Work in both cold and hot conditions, Lift 50 lbs. or more,
Work at heights of twenty feet or above.
External Requirements:
Up to one year of PIT operation experience required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain and retain a PIT certification.
Basic computer skills for training purposes.
Ability to work at Heights as needed.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
