The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day production operations to ensure output, productivity, quality, delivery, and safety targets are met. This role supervises operators and line leads, drives schedule adherence, monitors performance metrics, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. The position plays a critical role in sustaining operational excellence and meeting customer commitments.
 

Key Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, and line management
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise operators and line leads in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of yield, productivity, downtime, cycle time, and OTD metrics
  • Experience in shift operations, manpower planning, and production scheduling
  • Familiarity with QMS, control plans, SOPs, and standard operating procedures
     

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop operators and line leads
  • Lead day-to-day production activities to meet output, productivity, cycle time, and OTD targets
  • Monitor line performance (yield, downtime, productivity) and drive immediate containment and recovery actions
  • Ensure schedule adherence and manage expedites or priority builds
  • Conduct shift handovers and daily performance reviews
  • Support manpower planning, skills matrix development, and cross-training initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to QMS, control plans, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements
