About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products & services for medium to large business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
Review customer information with the technology team
Implement technical initiatives for complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
Lead initiatives for complex projects and work with the technology team to assess customer information and recommend best solutions to the customer
Conduct research or testing of achieving market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory or compliance issues and implications of new implementations
Collaborate and consult with the technology team to resolve issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Governance (70%)
Participate in enterprise-wide third-party governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and compliance mandates.
Serve as a strategic escalation point for executive leadership, resolving complex vendor and operational challenges.
Lead/support multi-year transformation programs including vendor ecosystem redesign, insourcing strategy, and cost optimization.
Organizational Leadership & Operational Excellence (30%)
Facilitate governance councils and strategic forums to identify innovation and offshoring opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance across global teams.
Define and drive strategic vendor engagement models, including preferred partner frameworks, SOW management, Spend Management, Vendor Consolidation and exception governance
Collaborate with senior IT leaders and partner teams, demonstrating strategic understanding of business needs.
Work with cross functional teams and understand various tools to obtain the granular level data and share insights; Opportunities/focus area for cost savings
Adept in building presentations that enable communication of strategic direction across technology.
Job Expectations:
MS Office Suite, MS Visio, Power BI/Tableau, and advanced analytics platforms.
Expertise in SOW governance, vendor risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Executive-level communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
