Field Medical Assistant
Location: Boise, ID
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Hybrid
About the Role
Senior Doc is seeking a dedicated Field Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly alongside providers, traveling to patient homes and senior living communities to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
This is a hands-on, patient-facing position ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, supporting providers, and making a direct impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel with providers to patient homes and senior living facilities
- Assist with patient visits, including vitals, documentation, and care support
- Support providers during exams and procedures in the field
- Accurately document patient information in the EMR
- Help coordinate follow-up care and communicate with the care team
- Provide basic patient education and support to patients and families
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for field visits
- Maintain professionalism while representing Senior Doc in the community
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification required
- Previous experience in a clinical setting required
- Field-based or home health experience preferred
- Comfortable traveling locally and working in a mobile care environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a provider in the field
