This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Sr. Manager, Logistics & Freight Management (Management Path), is primarily responsible for overseeing transportation, shipments, and freight forwarding, ensuring customs compliance within the supply chain. You will lead third-party vendor management, support distribution strategy development, and supervise teams to drive performance and success. This role requires leadership, project management, problem-solving, and logistics expertise to foster a culture of excellence and enhance employee engagement.

Specifics Include:

• Oversee transportation of goods, shipments, and freight forwarding, ensuring customs compliance
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure quality and service
• Support the development of distribution strategies to optimize business performance
• Supervise multiple teams, implementing departmental plans and ensuring team success
• Lead performance management, drive talent development, and make decisions affecting team operations and performance
• Ensure positive employee relations and enhance employee engagement and recognition
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control
  Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Travel: Minimal
• Work Location: Onsite – Fort Worth, TX - Main
