Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients professionally and courteously
- Answer calls, take accurate messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
- Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups
- Manage medical records per policy
- Open/close office and maintain organized front desk operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical office experience and terminology preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and business math
- Physician office experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs)
- Frequent computer and phone use
