Maintenance Technician 1
Position Summary
What You Will Be Doing
- Set up and maintain production equipment to support efficient and high-quality manufacturing
- Prepare and configure machinery for scheduled production runs
- Learn through hands-on training to troubleshoot mechanical systems and provide immediate corrective support to production lines, conveyor systems, and related equipment
- Monitor and maintain proper fluid levels across equipment
- Assist with overhauls and repairs of production machinery
- Support installation of new production equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks
- Step in to perform Maintenance Associate duties as needed
- Follow OSHA safety and health regulations and company safety practices
- Maintain responsibility for food safety and product quality standards
What You Will Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in maintenance work
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
- Strong spatial awareness when working around production equipment
- Ability to work in cold environments below 32°F for extended periods with proper protective equipment
- Ability to work in environments with noise levels above 85 decibels with proper protection

- Exposure to cold temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Exposure to elevated noise levels requiring protective equipment
