We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Executive to drive Commvault’s growth across New South Wales. You will be responsible for achieving quota by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within a defined territory of commercial and mid-market organisations.
This is a field-based role, combining direct customer engagement with partner-led selling. You will own the full sales lifecycle - from prospecting through to close - while managing a high-velocity pipeline and maintaining strong relationships across customers, partners, and internal teams.
Your focus will be on secure software, SaaS, AI-enabled, and cloud-based data protection solutions that support compliance, resilience, and digital transformation.
How You Will Make An Impact:

Identify and qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities in order to achieve revenue quota on a quarterly and annual basis

Maintain a high level of face-to-face meeting activity with customers, prospects and partners on a weekly basis

Develop a territory plan to best leverage partners, alliances and existing relationships to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new logo opportunities

Identify and build strategic relationships with local partners to aid in pipeline generation

Lead partner relationships, assist in rolling out partner programs and partner sales and technical enablement

Cultivate strategic working relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of contact

Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing clients with quantifiable business cases and strategic and technical value propositions

Negotiate and close deals following the company’s practices and processes

Leverage internal sales tools and processes to drive opportunities to a successful close.

Ensure orders meet all legal and financial requirements

Plan, attend and coordinate executive briefings

Maintain a high level of relevant industry, Commvault and driven knowledge
What You Will Bring:

Strong success in software or SaaS sales, ideally in commercial or mid-market segments.

Strong new business focus with a proven ability to build and convert pipeline

Experience selling complex platforms, with clear articulation of business and financial value.

Solid grounding in IT infrastructure, cloud, data protection, or storage markets.

Track record of working with and through channel and alliance partners
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies

Disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM usage (e.g. Salesforce).
