Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare by making advanced medical solutions more accessible?Our Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement (HEPR) team is looking for an innovative professional to lead strategic initiatives that highlight the value of our technology and services by crafting health economic strategies and building evidence that drives greater patient access. The role will also be pioneering new business models and value-based procurement strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will partner with clinicians and health authorities and collaborate across teams to bring cost-effective medical innovations to more patients at every stage of care. This role is remote and can be based in Finland or anywhere in the Nordic countries. Some travel will be expected, about 15% of the time.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
· Take a lead role in developing new business models, strategic tenders and value-based procurement initiatives
· Lead health technology assessment (HTA) projects to secure timely market access
· Lead economic evidence generation projects (including cost-effectiveness modelling, budget impact models, scientific publications etc.) to clarify the value of our product portfolio
· Identify payer opportunities and challenges and implement programs to reduce market access barriers for the company’s products and therapies at national, regional, and hospital levels
· Collaborate with regional teams to ensure local needs and perspectives are well-integrated within European and Global strategies
· Represent Medtronic towards clinical stakeholders as well as in industry associations and policy meetings. Drive development of national strategies towards supporting access for innovative and cost-effective technologies
Required Knowledge and Experience:
· Master’s degree or above in Health Economics, Health Policy, Pharmacoeconomic, Market Access or alternative health degree or equivalent with evidence of strong quantitative analysis skills
· At least 4 - 7 years of experience in health economics or market access positions, alternatively working in hospitals or regions with data analysis, evidence generation or innovation projects
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language
· Self-motivated with a passion to succeed
· Comfortable in high-stakes situations and collaborations with C-suite representatives and international KOLs
