About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards established by the Indiana Department of Public Health. This position requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following ALARA safety standards
  • Produce high‑quality images using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Assist radiologists and support fluoroscopic procedures
  • Safely position, transfer, and care for patients across all age groups
  • Prepare patients and exam rooms; explain procedures clearly
  • Administer contrast media and respond to adverse reactions as needed
  • Accurately document exams and maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
  • Maintain imaging equipment and a clean, well‑stocked work environment
  • Collaborate professionally with physicians and care teams

Education

  • Graduate of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program

Licensure & Certification

  • Current ARRT certification and registration
  • Indiana State Department of Health X‑Ray Operator Certificate
  • Current BLS certification
