Primary Function
The Analyst shall be responsible for end-to-end module/PCBA planning by working closely with cross-functional teams and Business Units (BUs) to ensure alignment of demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
The role will identify constraints or gaps across manufacturing, component supply, and assembly processes, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution to ensure on-time delivery of ADI parts. The Analyst is expected to maintain regular reporting of delivery performance, risks, and key metrics, and provide timely updates to stakeholders and management. This role requires close coordination with BUs to understand demand changes, product priorities, and business drivers, ensuring execution plans remain aligned with business needs.
Critical issues and risks shall be escalated to SCM management, with recommendations for process and system improvements to enhance planning effectiveness.
Educational Background:
- Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Industrial / Production Engineering or any supply chain, business, engineering, or related discipline.
- With industry certification or good scholastic record is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or supply chain / factory planning role
- Exposure to module assembly or PCBA environment is preferred
Knowledge, skill and abilities:
- Collaborative and knows how to motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely, data-driven decisions
- Knowledgeable in PCBA processes, including BOM structures, component supply, and assembly flow
- Working knowledge of SAP S4/Hana, Oracle SQL, Tableau or Power BI is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project management and process improvement methodologies
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform deep dive root cause analysis of delivery and manufacturing performance, particularly on module builds, to identify areas of concern
- Analyze and identify potential delivery risks related to material availability, component shortages, and build readiness, and provide regular updates
- Drive module build readiness by ensuring alignment of demand, supply, and manufacturing schedules
- Maintain close coordination with Business Units (BUs) to validate demand signals, understand priority shifts, and align execution plans with business requirements
- Act as a key point of contact between BUs and operations, ensuring clear communication of risks, commitments, and recovery actions
- Identify BOM or component-related constraints (e.g., long lead time, EOL, allocation) and work with stakeholders on mitigation plans
- Identify process/system gaps through A3 and drive sustainable improvements
- Present findings and recommendations to management to support planning decisions and issue resolution
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to resolve planning and execution issues
- Take ownership of planning deliverables and drive outcomes with a strong sense of accountability and customer focus
- Ensure compliance with company policies on environmental management, health, safety, and quality
