Location: Puurs, Belgium

We are seeking a Process Engineer who (focus equipment) will be responsible for managing and executing CAPEX projects, within the area of production equipment.

 

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Execute capex projects within preprocessing, compounding and filling of aseptic products in Puurs.

• Initiate the project, develop the business case together with the stakeholders,

• Reach out to suppliers, order equipment, perform design reviews and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning testing to get the new equipment up&running within the agreed timelines

• Manage capex project: budget and schedule across departments

• Become subject matter expert for the preprocessing, compounding and filling processes within the site

• Take initiatives to challenge the status quo in the existing processes and evaluate alternatives and new technologies

• Develop project execution strategy and execute investment projects according to customer needs (costs, schedule, functionality, quality)

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc.) or equivalent

• 5 years of engineering experience thereof 2 in investment projects, ideally in Pharmaceutical industry and aseptic production

• Proven project management skills including contract management and project controlling

• Good collaboration and inter-personal skills

• Fluent in English and Dutch

Desirable Requirements:

• Leadership experience for the management of external resources

• Understanding of qualification activities within pharmaceutical industry
