Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Data Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing warranty claims, improving J.D. Power performance, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction through effective data analysis and communication.
What you’ll be doing
Success in this role means transforming data into actionable insights that directly improve vehicle quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to identify issues early, prevent recurrence, and help deliver vehicles that meet Toyota’s high standards.
Develop, analyze, and report on field quality data and warranty trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Translate data insights into clear recommendations that drive corrective actions and process improvements
Lead vehicle pre‑delivery correction activities to ensure quality issues are addressed prior to customer delivery
Support root cause analysis, countermeasure development, implementation, and effectiveness verification
Contribute to warranty reduction initiatives through data‑driven quality improvement efforts
Support J.D. Power initiatives, including IQS, VDS, and PQS, by analyzing performance and identifying opportunities
Collaborate with leadership, production, and cross‑functional partners to maintain the integrity of quality systems and standards
Build knowledge of Toyota quality systems, tools, and methodologies while continuing to grow technical and problem‑solving capabilities
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
1 or more years of experience applying data analytics to support quality, manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives
Experience using data visualization or reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI to deliver actionable insights
Understanding of vehicle structure, component manufacturing, and assembly processes in a production environment
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Willingness and ability to work periodic overtime as business needs require to support production schedules and quality initiatives
Willing to work overtime, along with being able to travel both internationally and domestically as required.
Added bonus if you have
Experience in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments
Exposure to field quality, warranty analysis, or customer satisfaction activities
Familiarity with Toyota quality systems or similar reporting platforms
Experience with root cause analysis, countermeasure development, or structured problem‑solving methodologies such as TBP
Co‑op or internship experience in manufacturing or quality engineering
