About the Team

We are a group of hard-working professionals, with a diverse mix of experience and backgrounds, driving crucial financial outcomes and customer retention (with a focus on minimising churn) across Workday’s global specialised product portfolio.

The team promotes Workday’s core values with a strong dedication to our employees and operates as a critical link between Sales, Customer Success, Deal Operations, Finance, and Legal. This position is a customer facing role and supports global customers and reports to the Manager, Renewals.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Renewal Execution: Execute the end-to-end renewal process for a designated high-volume portfolio of specialized product accounts globally, ensuring on-time closure and minimizing financial attrition (reducing churn).

  • Quoting: Prepare self-service eligible renewal quotes and order forms and coordinate with Deal Operations as needed in the quoting and order form process.

  • Negotiations: Conduct negotiations on standard renewal facets (term, quantity, pricing within guardrails) to maximize contract value while maintaining positive customer relationships, in close partnership with Deal Operations, Customer Success Managers and Account Executives.

  • Process & Forecast Adherence: Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting on renewal status. Ensure consistent and timely progression of renewal opportunities through defined sales stages, following standardized processes.

  • Risk & Mitigation: Flag potential risk accounts and early warning signals to senior team members and Sales/CS partners. Support execution of defined mitigation plans.

  • Cross-Functional Facilitation: Serve as a primary owner working with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Deal Operations to resolve commercial roadblocks and ensure seamless deal flow.

  • Compliance: Follow and adhere to all internal best practices for Opportunity Management, data quality, and pricing guardrails. Work in a flex model environment (minimum of 50% in office).

About You

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to articulate commercial terms clearly during negotiations with renewing customers.

  • Comfortable investigating and resolving complex customer dynamics during the renewal process.

  • Ability to quickly prioritize a high volume of work and execute efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Self-driven and autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership over a large, complex portfolio.

  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented, process-minded approach.

  • Great Workday ambassador, modeling core values and contributing to a strong, positive culture.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in customer facing Sales, Renewals, Customer Support, or a similar commercial operations role within a B2B environment, preferably SaaS.

  • Proven experience handling a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts or transactions.

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce and self-service CPQ tools (e.g., Apttus or equivalent).

  • Advanced ability to manipulate data and formulas in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

  • Experience with objection handling and managing basic customer facing commercial negotiations.

  • Familiarity with leveraging automation or AI-powered tools to enhance commercial workflows and reporting efficiency.

  • Experience in the SaaS industry, preferably with enterprise or specialized software solutions

  • Fluency in Englis

  • Warsaw based only

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email
