We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join our team in Neuhausen am Rheinfall as a part of our Aerospace and Defense division.

Under general direction, purchases a variety of materials, supplies and services. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers. Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best value. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing. Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.

Your Challenge:

• Procurement of technical components and services

• Obtaining and comparing offers

• Monitoring of timely and quality-compliant deliveries

• Supplier management, price negotiations with suppliers

• Invoice checking, reminders and complaint handling

• Collaboration in optimizing purchasing processes and master data maintenance

• Supporting strategic purchasing

• Deputy of Manager, Purchasing

Your Expertise:

• Commercial or technical training with further education in purchasing

• Experience in technical purchasing / project procurement

• Negotiation skills, INFOR and SAP knowledge

• good technical understanding

• Strong analytical skills and fluent English skills

• Independent working style as well as a high degree of initiative and teamwork skills are required

• Willingness to learn and develop on the job

• Strong organizational skills

• Quick perception

• High communication skills

• Strong leadership skills
