About the role

Job Description:

General Accountability/Support: 

  • To serve as a member of ITW Medical responsible for the quality and production of the machines for distribution to our customers. 

  • To ensure that every machine is operating according to all Manufacturing Instructions and Operating Procedures. 

  • To practice and encourage courtesy and helpfulness among all team members. 

  • To become fully trained in all areas of machine operation as per Standard Operating Procedures.  

  • Follow all ITW Medical rules and regulations.  

  • Perform end of the day clean up duties as required, and any other required housekeeping.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct initial inspection of manufactured parts for defects; escalate issues as required 

  • Record all activities of assigned shift by completing proper forms, i.e. job activity sheets, break sheets, etc. 

  • Communicate with the shift lead and QC inspectors 

  • Replenish raw materials when needed 

  • Report machine issues to technicians 

  • Good manufacturing practices  

  • Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety  

  • Knowledge of Quality Checks  

Qualifications: 

  • 0- 1 years of experience. 

  • This position requires the ability read and comprehend Operating Instructions and Manufacturing Specifications for the work performed. 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. 

  • Ability to compute ratios and percentages. 

  • This position requires corrected eyesight of 20/20 for the visual quality inspections performed on parts. 

  • Basic Computer Skills – Data Entry, Common Searches, and other custom software packages specific to the business 

 

Physical Demands:  

  • This position requires some physical movement around the machine areas, and an operator stands for 90% of their work shift 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.   

  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crawl; and talk or hear. 

  • The employee must frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation Information:

Pay Transparency

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. As applicable this role will also receive overtime compensation and may be eligible for shift premium compensation.

Pay Range:$16 - $22

Vacation - up to 80 hours of time within first year

Sick - up to 40 hours of time within first year

Floating Holiday - up to 8 hours of time within first year

Holiday - 10 paid holidays per year, these holidays are selected by the Division
