Highlights:
Summary The Assistant Director, Decision Support & Reimbursement shall be responsible to assist in developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the Decision Support and Reimbursement department. This individual will analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, support decision-making, and strategy. Additionally, the Assistant Director will oversee and manage staff and daily operations of the Decision Support team. The Assistant Director will also manage vendor relationships, as well as to collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and other departments to support business objectives.
Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required. Master's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration preferred.
License/ Certifications Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certifications preferred.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Personal organizational skills.
Ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints with the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to exercise independent thought and judgement.
Possess strong analytical skills.
Governmental payer regulatory billing requirements preferred.
Significant experience in reimbursement, revenue cycle, and financial analysis, with a strong emphasis on healthcare.
