Jefferson Health, home of the renowned Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist for a full-time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Neurology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. This faculty appointment provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic clinical, academic, and research environment.

Job Description

  • Provide neurological care across Jefferson Health’s hospital system.
  • Participate in academic teaching activities including resident and medical student education.
  • Engage in clinical research and collaborate on scholarly publications.
  • Contribute to program development and community outreach.
  • Call responsibilities shared across department faculty.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
  • Board certified or board eligible in neurology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
  • Commitment to academic excellence in patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience or interest in academic research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
