We’re looking for a Workday HRIS Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize Workday across our People & Culture organization. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver day-to-day system support, drive enhancements, and ensure Workday continues to meet evolving business needs.
Reporting to the Senior HRIS Program Manager, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, and improving HR processes through technology.
Location: Remote within the United States
Hybrid work schedule (2-3 days a week) required if located within 50 miles of our Denver, CO office.
Responsibilities
Serve as first-level escalation during U.S. business hours for Workday issues when the Managed Service Provider is unavailable or outside of scope.
Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting support, including basic programming/configuration updates as needed.
Extract and organize data from Zayo’s ticketing platforms, enriching, when necessary, to be used for insights and trends.
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Knowledge of Workday reporting, business processes, security, and integrations.
Partner with internal teams and vendors on configuration, development, testing, and deployments.
Provide day-to-day Workday support to end users and clearly communicate issue resolution.
Articulate issues for escalation.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency using Workday capabilities.
Support high-volume periods such as open enrollment, performance cycles, and annual HR initiatives.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and IT.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience as a HRIS Business Systems Analyst or similar role required.
Five years of hands-on Workday experience with strong knowledge of system functionality across multiple modules required.
Experience with complex integrations using Workday Studio required.
Proven experience as Workday POC handling first level escalations required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience supporting cloud-based / SaaS platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated base salary range: $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
