What you’ll do
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on new and existing products
- Review functional and technical documentation to define requirements and create clear, well-structured test cases and plans, ensuring they align with business needs and best practices.
- Execute manual test cases and report test results by performing comprehensive testing: functional regression, end-to-end, database, web services, etc as desired
- Drive software testing best practices, including performance, load, and security testing
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases within existing frameworks (preferably using AI)
- Apply GitHub best practices and work within CI/CD processes
- Work with the organisational QA team to build product knowledge, resolve challenges, and share results
- Design, create, document, and implement test strategies, automation, tools, and processes
About You
- 3+ years experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques: Golang, Node, TypeScript, JS, Java, RDBMS, Rest APIs
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for Backend (predominantly), Web & Mobile Applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment
- Mentor junior members of the team
