The Role

We are looking for a strategic and high-energy Director of Sales Development to lead, scale, and transform our SDR organization. You aren't just a manager of managers; you are a pipeline architect. You will sit at the critical intersection of Marketing, Sales, and RevOps, ensuring our outbound engine is sophisticated, our inbound response is lightning-fast, and our talent pipeline is the strongest in the industry. Your mission is to continue to build and manage a top-tier "prospecting machine" that drives predictable, scalable revenue growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategy & Vision:
    • Define the roadmap for the Sales Development organization, aligning SDR targets with overall company revenue goals and departmental KPIs.
  • Leadership & Culture:
    • Lead and mentor a multi-layered team of Managers and Individual Contributors, fostering a culture of high accountability, continuous coaching, and professional development.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Design and implement cutting-edge prospecting methodologies, cadences, and playbooks to improve conversion rates from "cold lead" to "qualified opportunity."
  • Tech Stack Management:
    • Oversee and optimize our sales engagement stack (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, ZoomInfo, etc) to ensure maximum rep productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Work hand-in-hand with Marketing on lead-gen campaigns and with Account Executive leadership to ensure a seamless handoff and high "win rates" on SDR-generated meetings.
  • Data-Driven Analytics:
    • Track, analyze, and report on funnel metrics, from activity levels to pipeline contribution, providing actionable insights to the executive leadership team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Track Record: 10+ years of experience in Sales Development, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role managing managers in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Pipeline Expertise: You have a deep understanding of both inbound and outbound prospecting strategies and a history of consistently hitting or exceeding pipeline targets.
  • The "Coach" Mentality: A passion for talent development. You take pride in promoting SDRs to become the next generation of top-performing Account Executives.
  • Operational Rigor: You are highly analytical and comfortable using data to tell a story, identify bottlenecks, and forecast future performance.
  • Exceptional Communication: The ability to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level while remaining approachable and inspiring to entry-level hires.
  • Adaptability: Experience navigating the complexities of a fast-scaling company, with the ability to pivot strategies as market conditions or product offerings evolve.
