Position: HW Commodity Specialist II

Multiple Positions Available:
1.Develop and communicate comprehensive spare parts inventory planning strategies, forecasts, and processes in alignment with multiple channels, department plans, key inventory targets and business goals; 2. Partner with various operations and key internal stakeholders, including: GSMs, Logistics, Data Center Operations (DCO), Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement (ISCaP), Network, and AWS systems development teams to support new business initiatives, execute projects, deliver part availability, and reduce costs; 3. Communicate ideas concisely to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informative to need for approvals from executives; 4. Leverage reports and analytics to make data-driven recommendations that are in line with business strategy and goals; 5. Review buying multiples, minimums, replenished forecasts, lead times, and vendor performance to optimize inventory levels across supply nodes; 6. Interface with other key organizations that contribute to AWS spares inventory (both front-end buying decisions and back-end consumption and/or liquidation of under-utilized spares); and 7. Work with colleagues to report team metrics, identify and develop additional or improved metrics to assess and measure team performance and effectiveness.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $79500 - $139100)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s):(1) experience in program, project, or product management; and (2) working with data, analytics, and analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.Preferred Qualifications
