The Regulatory Reporting Department provides governance across all regulatory filings and obligations for the Firm including completeness of the global inventory of filings, instituting process and workflow controls, facilitating the creation of policies and procedures, and providing process measurement reporting. Our team is responsible for report preparation, generating and coordinating responses for the larger cross-departmental filings, transaction reporting, managing external vendor relationships, oversight over technology supporting regulatory filings and evaluating automation options, and administering data standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Point72’s Regulatory Reporting Department is looking for an Associate with MAS OTC Derivatives Transaction Reporting, Operations and Regulatory Reporting experience to contribute towards successfully meeting the Firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. Responsibilities and scope of role will include various aspects of the MAS OTC Derivatives Transaction reporting function – both daily control functions and business analysis within the Regulatory Reporting Department. Specific responsibilities include:
- The role will be primarily focused on MAS OTC Derivatives reporting, with opportunities to contribute to the team’s broader regulatory reporting responsibilities and develop well‑rounded regulatory expertise across jurisdictions.
- Preparing and delivering regular reports on reporting status and any identified risks or issues.
- Monitoring daily report submissions, escalating and resolving any detected issues in a timely manner to meet reporting deadlines.
- Analyzing current reporting workflows, identifying areas opportunities for automation and helping to develop solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partnering with various internal teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness for reporting.
- Supporting the identification and mitigation potential risks within the MAS reporting framework, contributing to the design and implementation of robust controls to ensure compliance.
- Continuously evaluating and ensuring that the process of documentation remains up to date with the latest changes
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to gather and document regulatory reporting business requirements in support of new product onboarding.
WHAT’S REQUIRED
- Minimum 1-8 years of experience at a financial institution, ideally with reporting and operations experience
- Experience with transaction reporting platforms, DTCC Derivatives Repository and ANNA DSB
- Technical expertise such as SQL, Python, GenAI Process Integration, Databricks, Data Visualization and Alteryx
- Knowledge of financial products, e.g., equities, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives is an advantage
- Attention to detail and the tenacity to produce a meticulous work product
- Self motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities in a organized, process driven, and structured way.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
