About the opportunity

We’re looking for a visionary leader to own the intersection of global brand strategy and social excellence. As the Senior Lead: Brand & Social, you will be the architect of our identity and the conductor of our social presence. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our brand strategy is seamlessly translated into high-impact social content that drives cultural relevance and measurable growth. You’ll act as a brand guardian while staying deeply operational, managing the team that turn strategy into "shippable" social moments that build trust and community.

In this role you will

  • Define the brand-social ecosystem: Build a unified strategy where the global brand narrative fuels our social channels, and social insights inform our long-term brand evolution.
  • Lead Global Brand Campaigns: Act as the strategic engine for brand-led campaigns across the entire marketing org. Ensure campaigns are insight-led, culturally resonant, and creatively world-class.
  • Lead social-first activation: Own the end-to-end execution of our global social media presence. You’ll transform our positioning into a vibrant, always-on engine of content, community engagement, and cultural commentary.
  • Architect brand identity & culture: Evolve N26’s Cultural framework, identifying where the brand should play in the zeitgeist and how we show up authentically on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Drive strategic excellence: Lead the strategic roadmap for brand campaigns and social-first activations, ensuring every piece of content is high-quality, on-brand, and designed to break through the noise.
  • Manage & measure impact: Define the KPIs for brand health and social performance. You’ll rigorously interpret data to prove how brand sentiment and social engagement drive business value.
  • Scale global storytelling: Develop frameworks for brand messaging and social content that can be localized across markets while maintaining a consistent, world-class personality.

Background & Skills

What you need to be successful:

  • 9+ years of experience leading brand and social teams. You have a track record of building "talked-about" brands in fintech, tech, or high-growth consumer sectors.
  • A social-native strategist: You understand that social is the primary driver of modern brand equity. You know how to build a community, not just a following.
  • Brand governance at scale: Proven experience owning brand identity, and global strategy in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Expert brief-writer: You can distill complex business goals into simple, provocative creative briefs that inspire social-first thinking.
  • Analytical & outcome-oriented: You are comfortable with brand-lift studies and social analytics, using data to defend "bold" creative bets to senior leadership.
  • Leadership & coaching: Experience managing diverse teams, fostering a culture of curiosity and commercial accountability.
