About the role

Easygo is an Australian technology powerhouse behind global brands Stake, KICK, and Twist Gaming. As we continue to scale our engineering presence in Belgrade, we’re looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our Stake DevOps team and help build, operate, and evolve systems used by millions of users worldwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys ownership, solving real production challenges, and working closely with engineering teams to enable fast, reliable, and secure delivery.

Who We’re Looking For

As a Staff DevOps Engineer at Easygo, you’ll play a key role in building, operating, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines, with a strong focus on reliability and production readiness.

You’ll work closely with software engineers, platform teams, and security, helping ensure our systems are highly available, observable, and resilient at scale. Part of the role includes shared production support within a follow-the-sun model, collaborating with teammates across regions to keep things running smoothly and to improve how we operate in production.

We value engineers who take ownership, think pragmatically, and enjoy working close to real systems. You’re comfortable balancing platform work with operational responsibility, and you’re always looking for ways to improve reliability, operational maturity, and the overall day-to-day production experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), and Terraform (TF IaC).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices for cloud-native environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to drive DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Implement Site-Reliability Engineering best practices.
  • Improve and own observability, logging, and monitoring solutions using Datadog or similar tools.
  • Provide technical leadership driving best practices in infrastructure as code, cloud security, and site reliability.
  • Analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions, contributing to team goals and initiatives.
  • Lead and independently complete engineering initiatives from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including IT security, product managers, and engineering teams to effectively communicate DevOps related concerns and mitigate risks.
  • Innovate within the team by pushing for improvements and driving constructive changes to enhance team performance and efficiency.
  • Proactively build operational capability to detect and drive remediation of incidents before they happen.
  • Continuously stay on top of an evolving environments’ landscape, promoting best practices and fostering a proactive mindset throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
  • Deep expertise in managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
  • Strong experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes, Helm, and service meshes.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD automation using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog, Prometheus, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, networking, and performance tuning in distributed cloud environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset to address complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies to grow as a DevOps engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Technology stacks like Cloudflare, Kubernetes, AWS and Datadog.
  • Experience with IaC related technologies like Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Github Actions, AWS Code Pipeline.
  • AWS or equivalent certifications like Solutions Architect - Professional are highly desired.

Why Join Easygo?
