About the role
What You'll Do:
You’ll join Criteo’s Application & Product Security team as a Dev Lead, securing the products we build and operate. Working closely with Product Engineering, Platform teams, and other Security teams, you’ll define the security strategy for your domain while remaining technically hands-on. This role balances engineering execution, security strategy, and team leadership.
Own and drive the Application & Product Security roadmap, setting direction on key risks, priorities, and technical strategy
Act as a security subject matter expert, guiding teams on secure design, threat modelling, and vulnerability management
Lead the identification, prioritisation, and remediation of application security risks across the organisation
Contribute hands-on to security initiatives, including design reviews, security tooling, and incident response
Define and evolve security KPIs to measure and continuously improve the security posture of your domain
Partner with Product and Platform teams to embed security into the development lifecycle (shift-left approach)
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, providing both technical leadership and people management
Collaborate across Security domains to drive company-wide product security awareness programs and culture
Who You Are:
You bring experience in Security Engineering, or have strongly contributed to security topics in previous roles
You have a background in Product Engineering or SRE / platform environments and understand modern SDLC practices
You have experience leading projects, initiatives, or teams, with a track record of driving impact in complex organisations
You are comfortable acting as a technical authority on security topics, advising teams on risks and trade-offs
You can prioritise and manage security risks effectively across distributed systems and multiple stakeholders
You enjoy combining hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities
You influence without authority, building trust and alignment across teams
You demonstrate strong ownership and a high level of integrity when handling sensitive topics
