The newly launched manufacturing facility on Adair Blvd marks a pivotal expansion of Catalent’s Zydis® technology, a globally renowned, fast-dissolve oral dosage form that has transformed the lives of millions of patients worldwide. Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Site Director to join our team as the senior leader at the new Ontario Zydis site. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the Zydis business plan and site strategy. You will lead a cross-functional Site Leadership Team to achieve business objectives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Working within a global platform, you will represent the site’s needs to support the growth of our Zydis business in alignment with company goals.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

The Role
- Direct safe and high-quality execution of site operations in support of business strategies and profit and loss objectives.
- Ensure the site has the capacity and capability to meet customer demand and support business strategies and profit and loss objectives.
- Collaborate with functional leaders in developing and executing the annual revenue plan and working budget for the site.
- Implement a review and reporting process to evaluate progress against business and budget objectives and determine future priorities and resources.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through effective use of Operational Excellence tools and approaches.
- Ensure site compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice standards, customer requirements, external government agencies, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop recommendations and business cases for future investment priorities to enhance customer service opportunities.
- Support marketing and business development teams by preparing technical presentations and participating in customer meetings.
- Act as key management liaison for key customer accounts and relationships while supporting business development objectives.
- Engage in training, development, and succession planning for the Site Leadership Team and key leadership roles.
- Deliver the Catalent brand promise: "Championing the Missions that Matter."
- Promote employee engagement and a Patient First culture through key programs.
- Ensure compliance with company objectives and regulatory standards on health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned as a member of the Zydis Site Leadership Team, maintaining close connection to the Swindon, UK, Zydis site.
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience leading teams.
- Proven ability to lead a team and achieve results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and ambition to succeed.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
Preferred Skills & Background
- Knowledge of working within a Health Canada or FDA-regulated environment.
Pay
The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary within this range $160,000 – $180,000 Plus Bonus, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a global employer, and this salary range does not reflect positions that work in other countries.
