Property Underwriter

• The underwriter will be responsible for writing both new business and renewals. 
• Their primary interaction will be with the distribution team and reinsurance brokers to improve business relationships and develop new strategies with companies in the local market. 
• Given the ongoing growth strategy, alliances are key, as is effective sales management and the continuous development of a pipeline.
• Monitoring the technical assistance of the portfolio, both for new business and renewals. 
• Maintain constant contact with the regional team, both from the underwriting and engineering departments.
• Their daily work will involve using quoting tools to complete referrals.
• Responsible for operational and administrative management to understand the lifecycle of each account.
