Job Description

Are you a seasoned sales professional with deep expertise in the pulp and paper industry? We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Mill Sales Manager to join our Pulp, Energy, and Circularity (PEC) team in China. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between our company and our key mill customers, driving sales growth and strengthening long-term partnerships.

You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from identifying leads and booking orders to guiding contract execution and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are passionate about understanding customer needs, promoting lifecycle solutions, and leading strategic account management, this is the role for you.

Your responsibilities:

- Sales

1.Orders booked responsibility for whole offering Promote Valmet´s lifecycle offering and solutions.

2.Identify and document customer plans, needs and objectives and converting them into sales and development projects; guide customers selecting solution options.

3.Know customer´s decision making and purchasing processes and guiding us through it.

4.Support customer negotiations and coordinate Valmet wide offerings.

5.Guide mill teams towards bundling and value adding solutions.

6.Keep up to date with changes of installed base data, market situation and competitor activities.

7.Receivables collection.

8.Participating in customer specific marketing.

9.Execute according to sales process.

10.Collaborating with product managers, field service and spare parts to develop business opportunities (R&D)

-Account management

1.Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders, working as lead point of contact for all matters.

2.Align and support Cooperate Account strategy Keeping up to date with customer´s strategy and objectives, organization and people Expanding scope on existing customers and paving the way for whole offering (contracts, standards etc.)

3.Coordinating and leading of activities in the client interface, including communication with the customer, visits, product promotion, sales and success of delivery.

4.Collecting and following customer feedback and satisfaction Assisting with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.

5.Communicate claims progress with customers.

6.Mill shutdown-restart and service clock scheduling.

7.Lead mill hub / mill teams, min quarterly meetings.

Expectations for you:

1.Expertise knowledge of the pulp, energy and circularity process, operations and production.

2.Motivational toward teamwork and driving forward a successful sales team. 3.Excellent interpersonal skills to nature team spirit and cooperation.

4.3 years working experience in Paper and pulp industry or related experience.

5.3 years sales experience in Paper and pulp industry.

6.Bachelor degree of Paper, pulp or energy Self-confident and ready to learn new things Service and sales minded.

7.Strong communication skills.

8.Fluent in English both oral and writing Willing to travel.
