Job Description Summary
As Quality System Manager you will oversee, ensure, and enhance the organization's capabilities to comply with external standards and regulations, particularly in alignment with AS 9100. This role involves collaboration with other regulatory areas, including Production Organization (POA), Maintenance Organization (MOA), and Maintenance Training Organization (MTOA). You will be responsible for defined work or projects, following individual and departmental work plans, meeting short-term objectives, and resolving issues through immediate actions or short-term planning.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Ensure alignment between internal policies and mandatory regulations, maintaining compliance across production and maintenance operations.
Lead subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess and ensure compliance with AS 9100 standards and regulations such as EASA PART 21G, EASA PART 145, EASA PART 147, and foreign authorities like SACAA.
Monitor organizational performance in terms of Quality and Safety through audits and performance KPIs.
Define policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and correct application.
Act as a change agent to drive "Lean" operations and ensure adherence to quality procedures through audits.
Support the quality system and promote a culture of quality across manufacturing processes.
Establish internal processes to deliver high-quality products and services.
Monitor process results, identify root causes of non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
Work with the Risk Manager to identify and assess risks effectively.
Collaborate across the organization to promote a strong Safety Culture.
Serve as a best practice resource, maintaining awareness of the latest developments in Quality Management.
Communicate complex messages effectively, influencing stakeholders and building consensus.
Use evaluative judgment to solve moderately complex tasks or problems.
Analyze data and provide recommendations using technical expertise.
Qualifications/Requirements
Significant experience in Quality and/or Production Regulation.
Significant direct people management experience, experience with leading senior (SMEs) mid to large team.
Master’s degree in Technical or Aerospace fields, or High School Diploma with previous experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in Quality within an industrial environment
Language proficiency: English (C1) and Czech/Slovak (C2).
Strong organizational skills and ability to set and meet realistic deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Innovative and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to introduce forward-thinking solutions.
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
