The Buyer for Cytiva is responsible for timely delivery of components to start production at planned scheduled dates so we can deliver our customers on time. Secondly, the Buyer plays a pivotal role in maintaining healthy inventory levels to avoid stock out situations and improve inventory turns (QIT) at the same time.

This position is part of the Planning & Buying Team located in Medemblik and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage all material supplies for a given set of vendors
• Collaborate with Planning on priority setting
• Support Inbound and Quality Inspection to resolve any goods receipt issues
• Perform periodic supplier performance meetings
• Sustain healthy stock levels

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other relevant education
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement position
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
• ERP knowledge
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vertical lookups…) and other MS Office applications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• SAP (ERP knowledge)
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as Qliksense or BI
