Position Summary

A Brief Overview
As part of the growing Medicaid Product Team, the Senior Manager, Product Management will lead operational oversight and lifecycle management for our national value-added benefits and member incentives. They will develop and implement collaborative processes to improve the performance and day-to-day management of these products in order to drive quality, cost, and satisfaction outcomes. Drives innovation, evaluates performance, and ensures regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization's growth and success.

What you will do

  • Develop, track, and manage key financial and other performance indicators for managed products to ensure effective product portfolio performance
  • Build and maintain product portfolio catalog with comprehensive product information, performance data, and dashboards/reports to ensure key stakeholders have up-to-date and easily accessible product knowledge
  • Work with product leads and governance committees to manage intake, review, and execution of product improvement and development initiatives for managed products
  • Directs the development of marketing materials for external stakeholders and use within RFPs, legislative bodies, etc., related to products. May support sales teams as subject matter expert.
  • Create and manage the health plan product roadmaps and communicate the strategy to stakeholders and impacted development and management teams
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions and market segments in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancements
  • Lead vendor relationship management for our managed products, serving as the main point of contact for business requests regarding performance and risk issues, contract management, and as the day-to-day primary point of contact with the vendor and vendor activities
  • Collaborate with the product team, health plans, and other internal functional areas to lead vendor performance reviews and ensure necessary action plans are created and implemented


For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

  • At least 7 years of healthcare or health insurance industry experience
  • 2 years or more of Product Development, Product Management or Operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading cross-functional project management initiatives
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with execution and delivery (planning, deploying, and supporting) skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems/provide technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
