Position Overview:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will keep records of all goods shipped and received. They are also responsible for maintaining records, preparing shipments, sorting packages, and accepting deliveries.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the shipping and receiving function which includes maintaining records by entering all received shipments into system
- Prepare shipments, sort packages, and accept deliveries. This includes unloading freight
- Schedule freight pickups and deliveries. Ensure competitive shipping rates on all pickups
- Resolve customer shipping complaints
- Fulfill sales orders by picking parts, packaging, labeling and shipping required parts
- Work with other departments to ensure efficiency and timeliness of shipping and receiving function
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly
- Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the ISO Quality program and procedures, and the safety program
- Willing to flex between departments within company
- Additional duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 6-12 months of relevant shipping and receiving experience
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Aptitude with computer programs
- Problem-solving skills
- Organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work interdependently
- Resourcefulness and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime if required
- This job requires sitting, standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and stretching
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60lbs.
Compensation Information:
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
Pay Range: $23 - 29 an hour

- Vacation - up to 120 hours of time within first year
- Sick - up to 40 hours of time within first year
- Floating Holiday - up to 16 hours of time within first year
- Holiday - 11 paid holidays per year, these holidays are selected by the Division
