This event is invitation only and qualified candidates will be contacted by a Recruiter to be scheduled for an interview. Selected candidates will be given a time slot to interview virtually with our Hiring Manager for an opportunity of interest.

The following roles are available:
Surgical Technologist II (minimum 1 year Surg Tech experience is required)

Surgical Technologist - District Float Pool (minimum 2 years Surg Tech experience required)

CVOR Surgical Technologist (minimum 1 year of Surg Tech Cardiac/Vascular OR experience required)

Responsibilities:

Assists nursing staff in direct patient care, including preparation, transport, positioning, and draping of patients for surgery.Precept and mentor new staff members, fostering skill development and support orientation and onboarding.Handles, labels, and processes surgical specimens according to established protocols for safe and accurate delivery to the laboratory.Prepares the operating room by setting up sterile fields with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies tailored to each case.Anticipates the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.Collaborates with the sterile processing team to decontaminate, prepare, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.Contributes to a safe and supportive environment by adhering to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.Verifies that surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly and promptly reports or addresses any issues.Monitors and accounts for instruments, sponges, and supplies throughout each procedure to ensure patient safety.

Additional Job Information:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a positive disposition. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience required. Other Information: Certified Surgical Technologist certification (CST or TS-C) is preferred.
