The Technical Supervisor is responsible for providing day‑to‑day technical support across the commercial food and beverage equipment portfolio. Your deep understanding of refrigeration, beverage, cooking and/or electrical systems is crucial for providing expert assistance to our equipment brands: Cornelius, Silver King, and Prince Castle.Using your exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to convey complex technical details in a straightforward manner will be key aspects of your daily tasks This role supports the internal warehouse team, provides training and guidance to field technicians, and plays an active role in equipment trials and new equipment evaluations.
The Technical Supervisor ensures equipment performance meets operational, safety, and compliance requirements while driving continuous improvement in service quality.
Key Position Specific Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for commercial foodservice equipment, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, installation guidance, and performance analysis.
- Act as the escalation point for technical issues from technicians, warehouse staff, and customer service teams.
- Support development and updates of technical documentation, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides
- Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems and resolutions involving mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, computer hardware and/or firmware.
- Coaching technicians and customers with equipment programming, calibration, and other necessary details to assist with diagnosis and repair, with the goal of a phone fix and/or self-help tools available on the website.
- Clearly document calls to provide call recap and clear instructions if an onsite technician is needed.
- Read, interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment parts breakdown.
- Collaborate internally and cross functionally to solve problem problems and troubleshoot unique situations and resolve high-level equipment issues.
- Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure accurate equipment configuration, testing, and preparation before dispatch.
- Assist with quality checks, equipment setup, assembly, and pre‑delivery inspections.
- Support spare parts identification, stock accuracy, and technical evaluation of returned components or warranty claims.
- Participate in equipment trials, new product introductions, and field test programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Refrigeration, Electrical or Electromechanical or related trade qualification (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years in technical support servicing/maintaining commercial food and beverage equipment.
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting electrical and plumbing schematics and prints.
- Demonstrated experience in technical training delivery (train‑the‑trainer or equivalent desirable).
- Proficiency in the safe and proper use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation, electrical wiring, refrigeration and how to communicate step-by-step processes.

Working Conditions
The hours of work will be scheduled Monday - Friday ordinary hours of work are 38 hours per week, often structured as 7.6 hours per day.
Occasional travel will be required. 20kg load lifting is an occasional task associated with the role. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
