As a vital member of our Ob/Gyn specialty team, you’ll support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across our community. - Oversees the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety and satisfaction.
- Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care, empower informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.
- Facilitates effective teamwork with other clinical support staff as directed by Clinical Leadership and in collaboration with Providers.
- Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately and according to Colorado statute.
- Demonstrates competent healthcare assessment skills, prioritizing skills, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates ability to handle high telephone volume of patient requests for medications, information and assistance.
- Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures as needed; consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines.
- Performs venipunctures, administers injections, and initiates intravenous therapy.
- Obtains, monitors, and records vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures; ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Coordinates patient care with other disciplines in the health care system and others as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prepares patient for scheduled procedures.
- Monitors medical condition of patient and reports changes to appropriate provider.
- Maintains patient documentation and communicates plan of care with provider.
- Arranges for provider ordered diagnostics or therapeutic services.
- Ensures cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms.
- Replaces supplies depleted on a daily basis.
- Cleans and sterilizes equipment and tools.
- Completes shift opening and closing procedures.
- Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.

• 2 years experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations required.
• State of Colorado Registered Nurse or valid compact state license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
