Role: Integrated Designer, 18-month FTC (f/m/d)

Location: Heidelberg, Germany (On-site presence is expected for at least 2 days per month)

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's award-winning in-house studio embedded with one of the world's leading consumer health and hygiene companies as an Integrated Designer delivering creative across Europe.

You'll take integrated design projects from brief to completion, concepting and crafting assets across digital, social, print, and eComm for some of the world's most recognised FMCG and healthcare brands. Based within the client's brand ecosystem and reporting to the Creative Director, you'll bring genuine creative influence to client conversations, act as a brand guardian across the portfolio, and set a high bar for design quality across the studio.


THE ROLE

Working alongside Project Managers and fellow Creatives, the Integrated Designer leads concept development and visual execution across a broad range of projects from campaign ideation through to asset production, reformatting, and global toolkit adaptation. This is a hands-on role with real creative ownership: you'll shape brand-consistent, consumer-first communications, contribute to studio best practice, and bring confident, well-reasoned creative thinking to every client brief.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead concept development and visual design across digital, print, social, and eComm - taking work from brief to delivery with a clear creative rationale
  • Develop and pitch original creative concepts, presenting ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Create consumer-first assets that bring brand messages to life - including new ideation, asset repurposing, and reformatting from global toolkits
  • Act as brand guardian: develop a deep understanding of the client's brands, categories, and audiences, ensuring design consistency across all touchpoints
  • Produce work across a full range of formats - pack retouching, lock-ups, layouts, illustration, static and animated online banners, social posts (Instagram, Meta), print, POS, and eComm
  • Storyboard and produce motion and animation concepts in After Effects and Premiere
  • Accurately prepare and check files for print and web, including pre-production quality control
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across various deliverables, meeting agreed timelines without compromising quality
  • Proactively monitor quality, accuracy, and consistency across all studio output
  • Stay current with industry trends in branding, digital, and social design - sharing knowledge and raising the creative bar across the team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating integrated design capability across digital, motion, print, and production - ideally across multi-platform campaigns
  • 5+ years strong agency background in design, artwork, and production, with a track record of delivering high-quality work at pace.
  • Proficiency in German (B2) & English (C1)
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Motion and video skills in After Effects and Premiere, including storyboarding for animation
  • Strong command of typography, layout, and technical production, with rigorous attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of responsive design across digital platforms, and the specific requirements of online banners, social media, and eComm
  • Clear, confident communicator - able to present and defend creative decisions to clients and teams
  • Familiarity with FMCG or healthcare sectors is required

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools to enhance creative output and efficiency within an integrated design workflow
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for yourself and your team
  • Ability to support others in developing effective AI prompting and tool use for design disciplines
  • Agentic approach to complex, multi-step creative challenges - breaking problems down and identifying efficient, quality-led paths forward
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human oversight applied to all outputs
