About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to drive strategic partnerships and alliances for Paytm’s Travel business. The role involves identifying, onboarding, and managing key partners across the travel ecosystem to drive growth, improve customer experience, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
A key component of this role (~10%) will be managing and strengthening the relationship with IRCTC at a managerial level, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment on railway-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development & Management-
● Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners across the travel vertical.
● Drive commercial negotiations, deal structuring, and contract finalization with partners.
● Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to drive mutual growth.
● Track partner performance and optimize for revenue, conversion, and customer experience.
Business Growth & Strategy-
● Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to launch and scale partner-led initiatives.
● Identify new revenue streams and co-branded opportunities with partners.
● Analyze market trends and competitor partnerships to inform strategy.
IRCTC Relationship Management (10%)-
● Act as a point of contact for IRCTC at a working/manager level.
● Ensure smooth operational coordination and issue resolution for railway ticketing integrations.
● Support compliance, reporting, and communication requirements with IRCTC.
● Collaborate internally to align product and tech changes with IRCTC guidelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration-
● Coordinate with product and tech teams for partner integrations and enhancements.
● Work with marketing teams on joint campaigns and promotions.
● Partner with finance and legal teams for commercials, invoicing, and contracts.
Qualifications & Experience:
● 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development.
● Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
● Experience working with large external partners or government-linked entities is a plus.
● Understanding the travel ecosystem is preferred.
● Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
