This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Energy Industry in Bangalore .
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Lead end‑to‑end DCS engineering activities according to customer specifications and project requirements.
- Serve as design authority, reviewing and authorizing engineering deliverables across all relevant disciplines.
- Develop engineering proposals, system solutions, schedules, and ensure effective planning and control.
- Drive change management including scope, cost, schedule, and risk assessments.
- Participate in project reviews, presenting technical scope and progress to stakeholders and customers.
- Support project risk and opportunity management; contribute to claims and variation order documentation.
- Mentor and guide project engineering teams, providing technical support and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications for the role:
- BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, or related engineering domain.
- 9–14 years’ experience in Process Automation within Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Power, and Water industries.
- Strong proficiency in DCS system engineering, upgrades, modernization, retrofits, servicing, and commissioning.
- Hands-on experience with servers, workstations, RAID configurations, and system installations.
- Skilled in VMware ESXi / Hyper‑V, virtual environments, and Windows system administration.
- Expertise in network configurations (switches, routers, firewalls) and Active Directory/domain setup.
- Experience designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions, including system/network hardening, McAfee ePO, and WSUS.
- Competency with industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, and IEC
